Adele has announced four additional concerts for Munich. The British singer will be visiting the Bavarian capital intermittently for around three weeks. Eight performances in the “pop-up stadium” with 80,000 spectators each – a total of 640,000. These are Adele’s only gigs outside the USA this year.
The people of Munich are happy about that! When announcing the further concerts, Mayor Dieter Reiter said:
“I am delighted that Adele can be seen exclusively in Munich this summer. My thanks go to the organizers for bringing Adele, an exceptional artist, to us. This is good for Munich as an outstanding cultural city, it is good for our city’s reputation in the world, but it is also good for our tourism industry. Munich can host big events. We prove this every year with Oktoberfest or large trade fairs. The city is looking forward to Adele’s concerts and the many fans from Europe. Adele and Munich will certainly be an unforgettable experience for many.”
