The American Jak Crawford has won the Formula 2 main race in Silverstone and increased the explosiveness in the title race.

The Dams pilot prevailed on Sunday at the rainy Great Britain guest game in front of the Irish McLaren junior Alex Dunne and the British Luke Browning (Hitech). For Crawford, it was the third triumph of the season after the victory in Monaco and the Sprint success in Imola.

The German-Danish young pilot Oliver Goethe (MP Motorsport) worked in eleventh place from the 18th starting place, but was now just without points.

Goethe was affected late when chase when the Italian Gabriele Mini drove him into his side at the pit output with fresh soft tires without grip.

Richard Verzor (MP Motorsport/122 points) kept the overall lead despite the seventh place. The Dutch’s lead over the new second -placed Crawford is only six points.
