Monaco (dpa) – The race result at the Monaco Grand Prix remains unchanged, the two protests from Ferrari have been dismissed. That was decided by the race stewards on Sunday evening.

Sergio Perez remains the winner of the Formula 1 classic in the Principality, Max Verstappen third. The Scuderia had lodged a complaint against the two Red Bull drivers on Sunday after the eventful race: In their opinion, they should have driven their car illegally over the yellow line when exiting the pit lane.

According to the reasons, Verstappen touched the yellow line with the left rear and left front wheel, but he did not cross it. That would have been punishable. Perez said that even at the hearing, Ferrari concluded that the Mexican was not on the yellow line.

Ferrari would have benefited significantly from penalties against the two Red Bull drivers. Scuderia’s Carlos Sainz was second behind Perez, while Charles Leclerc was fourth behind Verstappen. The quartet were less than three seconds apart.
