73 days after the grueling finale of the 2021 season, Formula 1 returns to the circuit on February 23 in Barcelona.
On Wednesday, the motorsport premier class confirmed the respective three-day pre-season tests at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya (February 23rd to 25th) and at the Bahrain International Circuit (March 10th to 12th).
The new season, which with 23 races is set to be the longest in history, also begins in Bahrain on March 20th. The new racing cars, which had to be built according to fundamentally changed regulations, are used for the first time in the tests.
