Last year spoke we asked the 26-year-old Dutch international to hear what he thought of the performance of fellow countryman Quinten Post. Now he can show it himself in San Francisco. Until Leons came to the Warriors, Post was the only Dutchman in the NBA this season.
Leons played with Post as a youth player at Apollo and made his debut in the first team in 2017. Last year he played for Oklahoma City Thunder, where he made his debut in the NBA and made six appearances. Afterwards he was mainly active with the Oklahoma City Blue training team.
The Golden State Warriors have had a mixed start this season and are now eighth in the Western Conference.
