Farewell to Eyüpspor

Former Schalke player Ahmed Kutucu has signed for Galatasaray. The 24-year-old winger is leaving Eyüpspor after a year and a half and 34 goals in 42 games. The left winger signed a three and a half year contract with the top Turkish club.
The financial details were also published: The transfer fee for Kutucu is 5.96 million euros. The Gelsenkirchen native will earn around 540,000 euros for the rest of the season. After that, the salary increases per season: from around 1.35 million euros, first to 1.62 million euros and then to 2.02 million euros.
For Kutucu, Galatasaray is the third stop in Turkey after Eyüpspor and Basaksehir. He has played the most games so far (52) for Schalke, where he was partly trained and celebrated his professional debut.
