Former PSV player Przemyslaw Tyton new goalkeeper Ajax after testing Robbin Ruiter

Ajax has not attracted Robbin Ruiter but keeper Przemyslaw Tyton. Due to the injuries of Remko Pasveer, Maarten Stekelenburg and Jay Gorter, the team from Amsterdam was eagerly looking for an experienced reserve keeper.

Ruiter – who played three seasons at FC Volendam – was still on trial at Ajax last week, but trainer Erik ten Hag opts for Tyton. The Polish goalkeeper has more international experience and is fitter. A few months ago, Ruiter had his contract terminated with Willem II and has not played a game since.

Tyton has also not played much at his club FC Cincinatti lately. At the end of October he made his last playing minutes in the United States. The Polish keeper previously played for Deportivo La Coruña, PSV and Roda JC, among others.

Injury golf

By the injury wave André Onana is now the first goalkeeper at Ajax. Seventeen-year-old Charlie Setford and Calvin Raatsie (20) were on the bench as reserve goalkeepers against Go Ahead Eagles, AZ and RKC Waalwijk.
