Former Minister of Infrastructure and the Environment, Melanie Maas Geesteranus, previously known as Schultz van Haegen, will pull the cart with state investor Invest International. Her appointment as CEO comes at a time of increasing criticism of the fragmented investment landscape in the Netherlands and an increasingly louder call for a large government bank. Maas Geesteranus understands the criticism: “But a structure change alone is not the solution of all problems. We also need money.”
