Former head of Israeli intelligence service calls death of 50,000 Palestinians “necessary” in leaked audio recording

Aharon Haliva, the former head of the Israeli military intelligence service, has stated in a leaked audio recording that for every victim who fell on October 7, 2023, fifty Palestinians had to die, “even if they are children”. According to him, he called the death toll in Gaza, more than 50,000, “necessary” as a message for future generations.
