Sad news from Mick Schumacher: The former Formula 1 driver is mourning the loss of his dog.
Mick Schumacher has to cope with a personal loss. The former Formula 1 driver mourns the loss of his dog Angie, who accompanied him for many years. The 26-year-old posted several pictures of the animal on Instagram and addressed emotional words to his long-time companion.
“Angie was the best dog I could have asked for. She was my shadow, always by my side,” Schumacher wrote. “I was lucky enough to spend ten wonderful years with her, but it still feels like she left too soon. She accompanied me everywhere and gave me unconditional love,” continued Schumacher. “I will miss her forever – my Angie.”
The son of Formula 1 record world champion Michael Schumacher is currently driving for the Alpine team in the World Endurance Championship (WEC). His contract there runs until 2026. What will happen next for him in terms of sport is currently unclear. Most recently he completed some tests in the American IndyCar series.
