Ellyes Skhiri has found a new club after his contract with 1. FC Köln expired. The Tunisian moves to Eintracht Frankfurt.

Eintracht made the commitment official on Wednesday. Skhiri, the player with the most runs in the past Bundesliga season, had announced early on that he would sign his contract with 1. FC Cologne not extend it and wanted to take the next step in his career – among other things, participation in international business was important to him. He now gets this from the SGE, which had qualified for the Europa Conference League.

Skhiri also played there with FC last season, but Cologne narrowly failed in the group stage. Skhiri played a total of 118 Bundesliga games for FC, scoring 17 goals. He moved from Montpellier to the Rhine in 2019.
