Former Ajax player Tarik Oulida convicted in Spain for abusing his own daughter

Former Ajax midfielder Tarik Oulida has been sentenced to 2.5 years in prison in Spain for abusing his own daughter. That reports The Telegraph based on a recent judgment of the court in Marbella. He has also been given a restraining order and is not allowed to enter the country for ten years after serving his sentence.

The abuse is said to have taken place in 2011 in the former Ajax player’s home. Oulida is said to have crawled into bed with his daughter and sexually assaulted her.

The court’s decision is final. This means that Oulida cannot appeal. De Telegraaf says it has contacted the former footballer several times, but received no response.

Oulida played for Ajax from 1992 to 1995. He then played for Sevilla FC for a number of years. In 1998 he left for Nagoya Grampus, Japan. His football career ended in 2004 at ADO Den Haag.

Oulida has previously come into contact with the Spanish justice system. He was detained in Madrid for a month on suspicion of fraud, the newspaper reports.
