A military transport aircraft of the Russian Ministry of Defense took out 28 Russians from Kazakhstan, reported Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Telegram.

The plane flew from Nur-Sultan to the Chkalovsky military airfield near Moscow.

According to the Ministry of Defense, in total, military transport aviation removed from Kazakhstan almost 1.5 thousand Russian citizens.

The department began to take Russians out of Kazakhstan on January 8: on that day, 25 tourists returned to Moscow, who had arrived at a ski resort in Alma-Ata. At the same time, the Russian embassy in Nur-Sultan opened a crisis headquarters to accept applications from Russians wishing to return home.
