Football fans traveling to the World Cup in North America next summer are at increased risk of harsh treatment by immigration officials, discrimination and, in extreme cases, even arbitrary arrest. Fans with an LGBTIQ+ background in particular must be extra vigilant. Amnesty International warns about this.
