In the top game of the Italian league, Inter Milan are 2-1 at halftime! The hosts got off to an excellent start and Martínez gave Inter the lead after less than a minute. Rome needed time to get into the game, but in the strongest phase to date in the 15th-30th. There was no goal scored for the Romans in a minute. Instead, Mancini later headed in from a corner to make it 1-1 (40′) before Çalhanoğlu put Inter back in the lead with a dream goal from 30 meters (45’+2). However, the draw after 45 minutes would have been a little more fair and the second half remains exciting!

Looking at the last three meetings in the Italian league, it is clear that most recently the away team narrowly won 1-0. On the 7th matchday, Inter prevailed and benefited from a failed offside trap by Roma. The Giallorossi failed several times due to Inter goalkeeper Yann Sommer and, despite an appealing performance, suffered their second defeat of the season.
