    7:05 p.m

The equalizer came out of nowhere because it was the Gunner’s first shot on goal. Particularly bitter: Shortly before the goal, Yarmolyuk shot from distance and David Raya fished the ball out on the line.

  • 18:23

In their last league game, Arsenal narrowly beat relegation candidates Ipswich Town 1-0. In comparison, head coach Mikel Arteta is making four changes. Instead of Lewis-Kelly, Rice, Havertz and Trossard, Calafiori, Partey, Mikel Merino and Nwaneri, who is making his starting debut, can play from the start.

  • 18:12

After the goalless draw against Brighton, Thomas Frank changed his starting eleven to a total of two positions. Instead of Mee, van den Berg starts in defense. In addition, the German international Kevin Schade has to go to the bench and will be replaced by Yarmolyuk.

  • 5:58 p.m

The situation at Arsenal is completely different. The Gunners have not lost in all competitions since the beginning of November and are therefore eleven games without defeat. The last defeat for the North Londoners came on matchday ten when they narrowly lost 1-0 to Newcastle. With 36 points, Arsenal are currently in third place, but are already nine points behind leaders Liverpool and if the Reds do not collapse completely, the Gunners will no longer be able to intervene in the title fight.

  • 5:44 p.m

Brentford FC started the season relatively well, but the results of the last few weeks leave a lot to be desired. Of the last five games, the west London club won only one, one ended in a draw and three games were lost. The Bees are currently in twelfth place with 24 points and are therefore in solid midfield and are nine points ahead of the first relegation zone. Danish head coach Thomas Frank’s goal this season is to stay in the league.
