Champions on the couch after PAOK draw
The title was only made possible by the draw by PAOK Saloniki four games before the end of the championship round. The runners-up in the Greek Super League did not go beyond a 1-1 (1-1) draw against AEK Athens. After the visitors’ opening goal from Nordin Amrabat (16′), only Antonio Colak (27′) equalized.
Olympiacos is not only champions in Greece for the 47th time and for the third time in a row, but has also managed to become champions 22 out of 26 times since the 1996/97 season.
