Three days to rediscover the training value of sport. This is the goal that the “Football Community of Educating” festival is staged, staged until 1 June respectively at the Castello di Gradara (PU), to the Community of San Patrignano di Coriano (RN) and Gabicce Mare (PU). In this second edition, which embraces Marche and Emilia Romagna, Mission is to promote the values ​​of education, inclusion and support for younger generations through the universal language of sport. Today, which is taking place in San Patrignano, the first prize “Gianni Vasino” was awarded to a legend of Italian sports journalism, Italo Cucci, 86 years old yesterday. Gianni Vasino, an unforgettable voice of Italian football, who passed away on May 9 at the age of 88, was one of the great protagonists of Italian sporting journalism, known above all for the transmission “90th minute”, but also for his commitment to the social: he was a father of a person with disabilities and created and conducted in Rai the transmission “Come us”, a program that gave voice to stories of inclusion and civil rights in which these themes were still faced. Vasino has opened the way for the social story in the public service and is considered the spiritual father of the transmission “or also not”, currently broadcast on Rai Tre every Sunday morning, which will follow and also tell the “Calcio Community Educating” project. “I learned everything from Gianni Vasino. He was a silent but fundamental teacher for my work. He showed that we can talk about disability and fragility with dignity, depth and professionalism,” said Paola Severini Melograni, creator of “or also not”. On the occasion of the delivery of the prize to Italo Cucci, Cristiana Vasino, Gianni’s daughter, also connected with the Festival, to share a memory of the father and symbolically participate in the celebration of his commitment and his inheritance.

At the Castello di Gradara (PU) there was the official opening of the festival with institutional interventions, performative activities by Pit’Sa and the Lectio Magistralis of Armando Massarenti: “A football in stupidity. Sport will make us more human and intelligent?”, In dialogue with Paola Severini Melograni. Following, an author’s solidarity dinner signed by the starred chef Giancarlo Morelli, with the collaboration of numerous social projects, from Trentino Alto Adige passing through Friuli Venezia Giulia, Piedmont, the Marche to Puglia. The evening will end with a large concert with ladies of wheelchairs, Alma Mandera, the Il Giulla and Santino Spinelli & Alexian Group company.

Saturday 31 May

To the Community of San Patrignano di Coriano (RN), a day dedicated to the comparison between sports, youth discomfort and psychophysical barriers, with sporting events between special teams (including Inter Aib Special and Crazy for Football) and thematic panels on anti -Semitism, school abandonment, bullying and the role of the coach. The teams will be awarded by Flavio Siniscalchi, head of the sport for sport for sport and young people. Among the guests: Silvio Garattini, Daniele Cassioli, Renzo Ulivieri, Alessandra Servidori and many others. In closing, performance of the Rock Croel Monroe Rock Group.

Sunday 1st June

The last, at Gabicce Mare (PU), will be a final day with sporting events of the Real Eyes Sport team, interventions by the poet Davide Rondoni and the photographer Umberto Pizzi, with the inauguration of the photographic exhibition “Pier Paolo Pasolini and football”, the presentation of a catalog dedicated to Pasolini and an important panel on the gender in football edited by Arcigay and the Gionata tent
