Food banks in our province receive more financial support

Due to more expensive living and high energy prices, the demand for help from food banks and OCMWs has risen sharply. Dual earners also have a harder time. According to Depraetere, food prices have risen by 10 percent in a year. Our province will receive about 160,000 euros in extra support for the food banks. About one sixth of this goes to Ostend, followed by Kortrijk and Bruges.
