The Fraggles are back! Fans of the series can look forward to a complete reboot titled Fraggle Rock: Rock on!, which will be streamed on the AppleTV+ streaming platform. Already in April 2020 there was a reunion with the hand puppets with the “Fraggle Rock: Rock On!” short films. To mark the occasion, the Foo Fighters have released a new single entitled Fraggle Rock Rock.
After the resounding success of the short films, which were shot entirely on Zoom, the developers of the series decided to completely remake the stories about the hand puppets.

The Foo Fighters’ newly released single will also play a role in the new series, as the group are one of the musical guests in the Fraggles revival. Patti LaBelle, who will also appear as a guest, released her single “Shine On Us Now” on Thursday (January 20). In addition to LaBelle and the Foo Fighters, other well-known musicians have been announced with Cynthia Erivo, Ed Helms, Kenan Thompson, and Daveed Diggs. The full soundtrack is available now.
And fans of the series don’t have to wait long for the new episodes either: the 13-episode new edition will also be released on AppleTV on January 21st.
The original series “Fraggle Rock” by Muppet inventor Jim Henson, which became known in Germany as “The Fraggles”, was first broadcast in 1983 and achieved international fame with almost 100 episodes.
