It was already to be expected, now it is certain: The Foo Fighters have canceled all upcoming dates of their world tour. The band explained this in a statement on their website and on social media.

It is with great sadness that Foo Fighters confirm the cancellation of all upcoming tour dates following the devastating loss of our brother Taylor Hawkins. We regret and share the disappointment that we will not see each other as planned. Instead, let’s use the time to grieve, heal, hold our loved ones, and cherish all the music and memories we’ve made together.

In love,
Foo Fighters

For the German fans, this means that the concert in Berlin, which was postponed to June 2022 due to the corona pandemic, must also be cancelled. The purchase price can probably be refunded soon – information on the procedure has not yet been announced. The group’s website is now entirely in black and white. References to the recently released horror film “Studio 666” have also been removed. An understandable and right decision for every Foo Fighters fan who was able to experience the warmth and friendship of the band members live.

After the tragic event in Bogotá, the musicians have now returned to Los Angeles. The funeral will take place after the deceased has been released by the Colombian authorities.
