A day after the Russian invasion of Ukraine, the BBC already released a new podcast. Ukrainecast uses the format of the newscastthe BBC’s daily podcasts, to report on developments surrounding the war in Ukraine.
In the first episode, the emotion is still clearly palpable. The Russia correspondent who comes to speak has been working for the BBC for twenty years. He says: “Today is unquestionably the darkest day of me doing this job.”
That episode mainly focused on the impact on the population, since then every episode zooms in on a certain development or event surrounding this war. A good way to keep abreast of the conflict.
