Inflation in the Netherlands is falling slightly in August, mainly due to lower prices of international airline tickets. Daily life costs on average 2.8 percent more than a year ago, according to figures from the Central Bureau of Statistics (CBS). This means that inflation is slightly lower than in July, when the increase was 2.9 percent.
