Around 38,000 tickets for Guns N’ Roses’ only two Germany concerts in 2026. And that too in a hall instead of in the miserable Berlin open-air summer with wind, weather, light and sound distractions: one would think that it should be an easy pre-sale game for the Gunners. But no: three days after advance sales started, there are still tickets available for both performances in Berlin’s Uber Eats Arena (June 23 and 25, 2026).

Fan reactions and criticism of Axl Rose’s voice

In the ROLLING STONE socials, the bad mood among users was already noticeable with the announcement of the arena shows. “They can’t do anything anymore,” it was often said – most clearly with a reference to the voice of Axl Rose, 63: “Sounds like Mickey Mouse.” In fact, Reels’ vocal performances from last year’s Wacken Festival are some of the funniest alt-metal has to offer online.

Advance sales began on Wednesday from Magenta Musik, on Thursday from Ticketmaster, and today, Friday (November 28th) the official pre-sale for everyone.

Ticket location and price structure

There are still tickets available at Ticketmaster in each of the four price categories up to 269 euros, from standing room to long-distance seats to the “Platinum Ticket” in the front rows of the lower tier of the Uber Eats Arena.

Alone for the lower tier in Block 208, to the right of the stage and therefore closest to Axl Rose, Slash, Duff McKagan and colleagues, There are still 25 tickets for “Berlin 2” on Friday evening.

Why is this selling so poorly?

Hard to explain what’s going wrong here. Certainly Guns N’ Roses no longer enjoy the best reputation as a live band, as Axl Rose can no longer use his voice the way they once loved. Their last appearance in Berlin, in 2018 at the Olympic Stadium, was almost unanimously panned (except by us). The sound, for which the Olympic Stadium already enjoys a certain reputation whenever concerts take place there, was criticized. Perhaps the experience will resonate with many fans.

On the other hand, the Berlin concerts are the only ones in this country. Gliwice in Poland, where the band also performs, is around 500 kilometers away, and Amsterdam in the Netherlands is 660 kilometers away. This makes the “catchment area” for Berlin a huge area – at least for GNR supporters from Germany.

Is the time of Guns N’ Roses over?

The prices are high, but not exorbitant. Is the time of Guns N’ Roses, whose reunion – heralded with the “Not in This Lifetime” tour in 2016 – celebrating its 10th anniversary next year – over? A new album might help.
