On Wednesday (October 26) Nightwish singer Floor Jansen has on her site announced to fight against breast cancer. She will be operated on Thursday. According to initial findings, the prognosis is good.
Apart from the shock that this situation means for the musician and the band at first, Jansen is very optimistic that he will be completely healthy again. Even if further treatments will be necessary in the near future, this should not stand in the way of Nightwish’s upcoming tour. The 41-year-old also said this in her statement.

Accordingly, the tour of the symphonic metal band from Finland will start as planned on November 20th in Antwerp, Belgium. n November 27th, the first of several German gigs is scheduled for Berlin. Seven more concerts in Düsseldorf, Munich, Frankfurt, Bamberg, Hamburg, Leipzig and Stuttgart will follow in December.
