Flemish people have the best command of the English language in the world as non-native speakers, according to the latest ‘English Proficiency Index’ from Education First (EF). The Walloons are only in 32nd place, but are doing better than France and have also made progress. Belgium as a country is therefore in ninth place in the ranking.
