Flemish teenagers can voluntarily get a booster shot, without an invitation | Instagram HLN

The inter-ministerial Health conference did not make a decision on Wednesday about the booster shot for young people between 12 and 18 years. The competent ministers have requested advice from the Committee on Patients’ Rights.

Young people who were vaccinated early are at risk of losing their journey. The spring break starts at the end of February and in some countries the booster shot is mandatory if the last vaccine was given more than six months earlier. Several young people are therefore deliberately infected or go abroad for a booster shot.

Flanders is now taking flight and is deciding itself to administer the boosters “as quickly as possible”. However, invitations will not be sent and the young people will be informed extensively.
