Flemish government permanently cancels tightening of low emission zones, despite criticism from the Council of State

The Flemish government has definitively canceled the tightening of the low emission zones (LEZ). This is what Minister of the Environment Jo Brouns (CD&V) reports. Following the coalition agreement, the government decided in September not to implement the planned tightening of the LEZ rules from 2026.
