The Flemish Government is planning to suspend the language requirements for social tenants. This is apparent from the answer from competent minister Melissa Depraetere (Vooruit) to a parliamentary question from Flemish MP Gijs Degrande (N-VA). The measure must promote the integration of the target group into society.
