“Flemish Parks such as the Zwinstreek Landscape Park have a lot to offer. From beautiful nature and diverse landscapes to unique heritage. It is also a cheap and accessible way for young and old to get away for a day,” says Flemish Minister of Tourism Melissa Depraetere (Vooruit).
Hiking trail of 150 kilometers
The walking trail runs through the Zwin in Knokke, but also takes walkers along the coast, Bruges, Damme, Middelburg, Sint-Laureins and Zeeland. The Zwin already had a lot to offer walkers, including a barefoot path and themed walks, and the walking trail makes this offer even more extensive.
