The seaports in Flanders and the Netherlands are faced with a major shortage of technicians, operators and mechanics, among others. Port of Antwerp-Bruges alone has more than 3,400 technical vacancies available via Havenjobs.com.
With the Interreg project PORTAL, the partners want to better introduce people to technical port professions through port visits, practice-oriented training and an orientation week for job seekers.
