The Flemish departments and cabinets make massive use of Microsoft Copilot. That is a kind of digital assistant that runs on artificial intelligence and is built into programs such as Word, Excel, Outlook and teams. This is according to figures that Open VLD MP Jasper Pillen has requested. Pills welcomes the digitization of the Flemish government, but does count on the investment for citizens also lead to “a faster and better service at a lower fare”.
