FIFA has automatically suspended the contracts of foreign players and coaches from clubs in Ukraine until the end of the season to protect the parties financially.
Here is FIFA’s statement:
FIFA: “The contracts of foreign football players and coaches playing in Ukrainian clubs are suspended until 30 June 2022.”
FIFA: “If there is no mutual agreement between foreign football players and coaches playing in Russia and Russian clubs until March 10, there will be a right of unilateral termination. The termination will be valid until June 30, 2022.”
