At the end of the season, Aymen Barkok is moving from Eintracht Frankfurt to neighbors FSV Mainz 05 in the Bundesliga. The two clubs announced this on Monday evening.
Accordingly, the 23-year-old Moroccan international, who played in all selection teams of the German Football Association as a junior, will commit himself to Mainz for three years after his contract with Eintracht expires.
“He is a technically highly talented, attacking midfielder who will also fit in perfectly with Mainz 05 in terms of his personality and mentality,” said Mainz sporting director Martin Schmidt.
