The five suspects were interrogated on Sunday and Monday morning. Afterwards they were released again. “The first findings show that the incident may be linked to the drug environment. There are no indications at the moment that there was effective hostage,” the public prosecutor’s office says.
The investigation is continued by the Ostend police under the leadership of the public prosecutor.
