Five German mountain climbers have died in an avalanche in South Tyrol. According to the Italian rescue service, their group was hit by an avalanche during a climb in the Ortler Alps on Sunday afternoon. Five mountain climbers, two of whom were missing, have now been found dead. The search for the two was halted on Saturday evening due to darkness and is expected to resume on Sunday.
