First lifeguards on duty in Knokke-Heist
From today you can go into the sea in Knokke-Heist every weekend at three lifeguard posts. The posts are near Knokke Center, Directeur-Generaal Willemspark and Albertstrand Oost. The lifeguards traditionally start in May, when exactly depends on the weather each year.

From May 18, more than half of the coastal municipalities will have at least one lifeguard post every weekend. Only for De Panne, Middelkerke, Bredene and Zeebrugge it will have to wait until about mid-June. From July 1, the official summer holiday, you can swim again at every post on our coast under the supervision of lifeguards.
