Liverpool’s offensive player Diogo Jota died in a car accident. Now there are first findings on its course.

After the fatal accident of Liverpool striker Diogo Jota and his brother André Silva, the previous knowledge of the investigators indicate a much too high pace. The Guardia Civil announced on Tuesday.

Accordingly, “everything is for a possible excessive speed compared to the permitted top speed on the street”. The accident occurred in the night from July 3. According to the police, Jota was most likely to be at the wheel.

According to the Guardia Civil, a final report is still “in processing”, but will also include the traces of a vehicle.

The two brothers were traveling with a Lamborghini on Autobahn 52 in the Zamora region in northwestern Spain. According to the police, the car first came off the street – and then caught fire.
