First home win for RFC Knokke

An eager Knokke immediately grabs Heist by the throat. A seated Samyn offers Din Sula his first of the afternoon. 24 minutes later he manages a perfect hat-trick. First he shoots in nicely across the corner, two minutes later he reacts most alertly when a penalty from Pierre explodes on the crossbar. Jallo provides a fourth Knok goal, and if Mariën is a bit more confident, a forfait score is on the board at half time.

Knokke didn’t have to do anything in the second half, but the home team failed to increase the score further. Sulah is unlucky when his shot hits the post though. On the other side, Dhoest has to pull out all the stops a few times to avoid a Heist goal, but against a penalty from Jannes he also has no chance. Knokke does win 4-1, and thus takes his first home win of the season.
