First graders from poor families in Emmen get a free cell phone. ‘Indispensable for being able to participate in society’

Leergeld Emmen has been in existence since 2006 and is committed to ensuring that children and young people from families with little money can participate as much as possible in all kinds of activities, such as music lessons and sports. Leergeld also buys refurbished second-hand laptops for students who otherwise would not have a computer and ensures that these young people get good bicycles. Most of the income comes through donations from donors.
