First for VOC handball players; ultra-modern floor Elzenhagen South in use

The VOC handball players had to wait a while, but tonight the time has finally come. The reigning national champion will then take action for the first time in her new sports hall. The team of trainer Rachel de Haze will receive DSVD and will play on a brand new modern floor.

The new surface on which the games will be played is unique in the Netherlands. The large hall in Sports Hall Elzenhagen South is equipped with dozens of LED panels. A layer of special glass covers these panels.

First in the Netherlands

“This floor is a first,” says proud VOC chairman Andre Zeldenthuis about the modern sports hall. “It is the first sports hall in the Netherlands to have a floor like this. You just have to press a button and the lines change. So you can play volleyball, handball, badminton, you name it. There are also new LED screens on it. the wall on which we can show photos of players, for example.”

NH Sport will be present tomorrow at the first VOC match in the new sports hall. After the match, a report about the floor and a summary of the match against DSVD will appear on this website and in the NH Sport broadcast on television.

The match between VOC and DSVD starts tomorrow at 7 p.m. The Amsterdam team’s first five competition matches were all away matches. Nevertheless, VOC is undefeated in the lead in the Premier League with five victories.
