The difference in the specified WLTP range and actual range is large for some cars. For this reason, Autovisie tests the real average driving range in practice with air conditioning and radio On. This way you know better how far you can really get with an EV.

Firefly

Autovisie drives the Firefly with the 143 hp electric motor that is linked to a battery pack with a net capacity of 41.2 kWh. According to the WLTP measuring method, you can travel 330 kilometers on a full battery charge. What are we left with in practice from this range?

This is the actual range

On the savings lap, the Firefly achieved a consumption of 15.0 kWh/100 km, which corresponds to a range of 275 kilometers. A decent score.

If we arrive at the fast charger with 10 percent remaining battery charge, it needs 30 minutes to reach 80 percent. It gradually reduces its charging cycle and peaks at 88 kW. It generates 11 kW from the AC pole.

Measure range

Autovisie independently tests consumption in the Netherlands during the Autovisie double test. Please note that consumption may vary because it depends on your driving style, weather conditions and many other factors.
