In a car on the Noordhoekring in Tilburg, a firearm and almost ten thousand euros in cash was found on Monday evening. The police report this on Tuesday. A large part of the money turned out to be fake.
The 20-year-old driver of the car from Middelburg and the 20-year-old passenger from Tilburg were arrested and taken to the police station.
Agents saw them driving around ten past seven in the Diepenstraat and gave the driver a stop sign. The man stopped on the Noordhoekring and searched the car. The firearm and the false money that was found was seized by the police.
