Fire in old fire station Kortrijk: residents evacuated

The old fire station has not been visited by people for twenty years. However, a renovation is currently underway, which means that a lot of material is present.

The fire brigade feared the worst for a while, but everything was soon under control.

Short-term evacuation

Several dozen people had to leave their homes. The evacuation lasted only an hour, no shelter was needed.
