At Autobedrijf Loven on Lovensestraat just outside a business park in Tilburg, Brand broke out on Thursday night. Multiple cars catch fire. The flames struck out of the building.
The fire was accompanied by a lot of smoke. That is why a spokesperson for the Safety Region advises people in the area to keep windows and doors closed and eliminate mechanical ventilation.
Extinguish from four sides
The fire brigade is present with a lot of equipment. Among other things with two aerial platforms, a foam extinguishing vehicle, several tanker sprayers and a small water transport.
Around five in the morning the fire was not yet under control. At that time it was extinguished from four sides to prevent the fire from expanding.
Asbestos
Due to the smoke nuisance, the Lovensetraat, Javastraat, the Ringbaan Oost, the Enschotsestraat, the Ringbaan Oost, the Dijksterhuisstraat and the Gelrebaan are closed.
Around Halfzes, a spokesperson for the Security Region indicated that the fire is expected to be under control quickly. No asbestos would have been released.
