In a house on the Boksdoorn in the Emmermeer district in Emmen, a blazing fire broke out at the end of the evening. The resident was able to flee the house with his dog on time.
When firefighters arrived at the house, the flames already broke out and thick clouds of smoke were visible. The fire mainly raged on the ground floor, which burned out completely. Despite the intensity of the fire, the fire brigade quickly had the situation under control.
The Salvage Foundation will support the residents in handling the damage. Nobody was injured.
