A car burned out late last night on the Zandlaan in New Amsterdam. The vehicle was largely destroyed.
The fire started around 11.40 pm. The flames quickly wrapped around and left little of the car. The fire brigade eventually extinguished the fire.
According to a bystander, the car had been parked on Zandlaan for a long time, without being used. The police are investigating possible arson.
