This afternoon a fire broke out at restaurant El Karnak II in the Kerkstraat in Assen. The fire started around six o’clock in the kitchen of the restaurant.
A lot of smoke comes out of the building and the fire brigade is present with several forces. The building and the adjacent buildings have been evacuated and the street is currently closed.
Via the roof, a platform is checked whether the fire has also been beaten.
