The fire broke out around 12:30 am in an outbuilding of a warehouse on Korte Brake, where an unknown number of people were present this evening. It is not known whether people were present in the affected building, but the site and the warehouse have been cleared, a spokesperson for the North Holland Safety Region confirms.
Fire started in roof
The fire started in the roof of the outbuilding. It is not known whether the fire was caused by fireworks. The fire brigade is present with four cars and is trying to get the fire under control.
Gas bottles were found in the affected building, which were recovered by the fire brigade. It is said to be laughing gas, but the spokesperson cannot confirm this.
