When will the eco-extremists finally realize the damage they’re doing?
Another blockage of the climate stickers paralyzed half of Friedrichshain on Friday in the morning rush hour.
The radicals also obstructed an emergency vehicle on the way to a stroke patient!
From around 8 a.m., almost 70 people paralyzed the crossroads at Frankfurter Tor. 30 of them were stuck and blocked the important thoroughfares from Mitte, Friedrichshain, Lichtenberg, Prenzlauer Berg and Kreuzberg.

Also among the blockers were an orchestra playing classical music and Carla Hinrichs, the spokeswoman for the so-called “Last Generation”. She had already announced via Twitter on Thursday that she would “block a main traffic artery in Berlin”. She too is said to have stuck herself.
She did not make herself punishable with the announcement. According to public prosecutor spokesman Sebastian Büchner, there is a threat of a criminal offense. But it only applies to serious crimes such as amok or terror.

Nothing worked for the drivers. Also not for a stroke mobile of the fire brigade on the way to a stroke patient in Friedrichshain. The emergency services were stuck in traffic and had to improvise.
So the rescuers quickly drove to the sidewalk behind Proskauer Straße. In order not to endanger people, they drove very slowly.

After about 400 meters we went back to Petersburger Straße. According to BZ information, the detour caused a time delay.
Former fire chief Albrecht Broemme, who introduced the stroke car at the time, is angry! “Anyone who obstructs such important emergency vehicles is no longer a peaceful protester, but a disruptor.”
He emphasizes: “The security authorities would be well advised if they could clarify who is running these structures.”

Benjamin Jendro, spokesman for the police union (GdP): “It’s unbelievable how grossly negligent the adhesives treat other people’s health. When it comes to stroke, every second really counts. Anyone who intentionally causes traffic jams and cannot guarantee that rescue lanes can be formed is playing with human lives.”
Around noon the blockades were finally cleared. The eco-extremists are under investigation.
